LABO - Host Familes Sought For One Month 4-H International Exchange Program

This summer open your home and hearts to a new life long friend. Twenty-four (24) Japanese boys and girls (12-15 yrs old) will live with host families for one month this summer.  Have a cross cultural experience without leaving home!

2013 LABO Delegates

Females

Aisa Suzuki-12 Plays alto sax and piano.  Interested in jazz, Little House on the Prairie, culture. 

Yuki Kawase-13  Volleyball, swimming, cooking, animals. Learn about foreign life and culture.

Yuka Kitabayashi-13  Piano, outdoor activities, cooking.  Make good friends with family.

Erik Yamahata-13  Drawing cartoons, singing. Learn English better, tell jokes, play with family.

Haruhi Fukaya-13  Tennis, Calligraphy, cycling. Only child-wants family with brothers/sisters.

Akane Matsushita-13  Piano, swimming, nature.  Wants to be in country, make many friends.

Ami Tamaki-13  Sports, dancing, Little House on the Prairie. Wants to be a true sister with host.

Hiyori Mizumoto-13  Brass horn, reading, photography.  Interested in teenage life and schools.

Rika Makishi-13  Trombone, singing, math. Like to learn about cultures and understanding.

Mizuho Ishikawa-14  Reading, drawing cartoons.  Family life, cultural differences, English.

Yukari Kashiwa-15  Reading, small animals.  Like to learn about cultural similarities/differences

Chinatsu Sato-16  Volleyball, reading, animals. Teach Japanese foods, tea ceremony. Daily life.

 

Males

Keita Hashitsume-12  Soccer, painting , video games.  Learn American culture, tell stories.

Kakeru Itami-12  Japanese chess, board games, reading, swimming, outside activities.

Reona Ito-12  Cycling, karate, soccer, camping, fishing.  Like to become more independent.

Daichi Kawasaki-12  Soccer, swimming sumo, origami, camping.  Communication with family.

Koh Tabata-12  Fishing, swimming, natural science.  Would like museums, fossils, family trips.

Aoi Yoshino-12  Fishing, movies, swimming, bicycle, camping, animals, origami, cooking.

Hiroaki Maruyama-13  Soccer, reading.  Interested in horses, learn about American culture.

Tomoki Suto-13  Running, swimming, soccer.  Learn new culture, thinking, second family.

Seigi Bando-14  Sports, cycling, camping.  Likes the wide open spaces and nature.

Ryo Takehara-14  Painting, science, museums, traditional Japanese games. Avoid strenuous acts.

Takahiro Tabe-14  Badminton, tennis, cycling. Improve his English, experience different culture.

Kodai Tanabe-14  Baseball, soccer, swimming, camping.  Open to many new experiences.
